splatoon is my favorite game series ever, hands down. i have so much to say about it (but its 1am rn so i'll have to do it later) but i play as an octoling and currently my favorite game is splat 2 (sparkly ink in hero mode from hypnoshades callie my beloved), my favorite idol is marina, my favorite weapon is the aerospray, and my favorite clothing items are the takoroka windcrusher (god i want to wear this irl so bad) and the eye of justice (its so gender). music wise, i can't chose a favorite!! it's all so good, but i have special interest in into the light, bomb rush blush, ebb and flow, acid hues, anarchy rainbow, and till depth do us part (and calamari inkantation of course!)
ALSO TEAM SWEET SWEEPED THE SPLATFEST GOOD JOB GUYS!!! (have not been on a losing team yet i find it kinda funny)

my earliest memory of splatoon is winning my first turf war when i finally convinced my parents to connect the wii u to the wifi. my most fond memory is playing in the living room around elementary school age and experimenting with the kelp charger. i'm sure my mother was concerned when her most introverted child who always has her nose in a book just yells out of nowhere "OH MY GOD I SNIPED SOMEONE! I GOT A HEADSHOT!!" especially since she didn't understand the game well lmao
