this brought tears to my eyes during the premiere. the hardest thing was the end to a show that meant so much to me and although i was sad to see these characters go i'm happy i got to experience this firsthand :)

The Main Premise

Amphibia is a show that premiered on Disney Channel from June 17, 2019, to May 14, 2022. The story follows a 13-year-old Anne Boonchuy who was transported to Amphibia with her friends Marcy Wu and Sasha Waybright through an ancient magical music box. Anne is transported to Wartwood, Sasha to Toad Tower, and Marcy to Newtopia. Upon landing, Anne ends up taking refuge in the home of the Plantar family. While there, she learns valuable lessons on friendship and leadership, all while looking for her friends and a way home.

About Amphibia

Amphibia is a lilypad-shaped continent that is inhabited by sentient amphibians and oversized wildlife similar to ones on Earth. It is inferred that the size of wildlife in Amphibia is so big because the concentration of oxygen in the atmosphere is higher than Earth’s. Much of the continent is a rural marshland, but there are many other biomes such as snowy mountains and jungles. As of “The Hardest Thing”, there has been a new continent discovered behind Amphibia presumably because of the low water levels due to the destruction of the moon.
